HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Our goal is to provide affordable housing in our historic buildings that have so much more charm and one of a kind character than modern construction. The majority of our units are small studios, but we offer a range of sizes when available. Since each unit is different our policy to apply starts with viewing the available unit in person before receiving an application. We offer Rental Housing Association of Washington applications to anyone interested after their viewing. We only begin processing fully filled out applications that have a copy of a government issued ID as well as copies of recent pay-stubs showing a minimum of 1 month of steady income.
All applicants must have a minimum of 2 rental references that are landlords (friends,family or roommates do not qualify as a formal rental reference). Processing times of applications will vary based on information provided and reference requests being reachable. If an application is approved the applicant will be contacted to agree to the lease term offered. They shall have a maximum of 48 hours to accept the offer before the next applicant will be processed instead. If an application is not qualified the applicant will be notified through email. Once an application is formally rejected it cannot be resubmitted.
